lol broke... as in wheels fell off or won't start? Depends on make and age to be more specific.. but you have got petrol in it haven't you? The fuel shut off valve is open... and the battery hasn't died because you left it in garage for months without riding it???

Give us a clue

could be check basics fuel which includes carb air- filters then spark simple really these basics were taught to me when I learned to ride... see us biker chicks rock

could be spark plug or carb if it is firing then cutting out as it seems battery is good and filters only clog if you never service bike...

also read your manual might have a fault finding guide

Could be dirt in the fuel line possibly, have you run it on reserve? You may need to change your fuel filter. It's not likely to be an air intake issue as it would run until you tried to pootle off, most likely.

And yes, check petrol level...

You didn't put diesel in did you?

That's not a motorcycle - that's more of a lawnmower.

Solihull

put the make and model and the problem in google and there are lots of forums with people with the same problem mate so you might get some hints and tips.

If I had the bike I could help but there is just so many things to be guessing over the internet

Sounds like a fuelling problem to me. As one or two others have said fuel filter or blocked carb jets are the most likely causes. For anyone who's interested I ride a Triumph Sprint.

Start with the fule line then check carb, most likely a carb problem, might just need a clean.

I'd say check your spark plug first, good idea to check if running lean or rich and your getting a spark..

If it runs and cuts out sooner after then after checking fuel I'd say check coils..but symptoms vague
