Only going away for 3 nights and im worrying that i wont have enough.. my mum thinks im crazy.. i just worry about all the 'what ifs' that might happen

I dont want to be able to say 'no' to activities or treats etc.. i work and save hard for the lead up.

Do you budget for a certain amount or just go with whatever you happen to have at the time you go?

I'm going away in September for a week with my daughter abroad. .saved a fair bit already because I know we will be hitting the shops and the many tapas bars. But if I couldn't afford to save a great deal we would still have a great time. It's just aN added bonus atm I can put some extra money away.

And for emergencies I've always got the credit card.

But I wouldn't use it for activities or treats it would simply be for emergencies.

Chams or Socials

I always allow more than we'll need as I have 2 boys, 1 that is permanently hungry!!!

It's taken me 3 years to save for our holiday abroad next year & will probably be our last abroad together so I intend to make the most of it!!

I have a cheap money pot that I save £2 coins in & then smash when full - always a nice surprise to see how much is in there

When I go away with my son it's an All inclusive holiday. He can eat and drink as much as he likes. I take spending money for some trips or nights out.

I don't have a credit card either.

Have a great time

Go to Greece. You won't need any spending money.
