Well another mag is going free and handed out at train stations and such places.

Got to admit, I haven't read it since the 90s. Always preferred Melody Maker though, was gutted when it merged with NME.

I haven't bought it in years but have fond memories. I still have a few back issues in a drawer somewhere where friend's bands got a mention. And a few old compilation tapes and CDs knocking around (showing my age on the cassette thing

NME was once jokingly called 'New Morrisey Express' due to having him on the cover constantly, and even voted the Smiths the greatest band of all time.
