I (david) used to go to Hammersmith Palais and Brixton Fridge in mid-80s and wow the girls were incredible. And great music too naturally!

Goth was never about being relentlessly miserable, there was so much joy in the gigs and club scene, even Fat Bob Smith used to smile his head off. emo isn't the same . Feeling a craving for my old eyeliner now...
