Minis - defeating the object of the exercise

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

It's been hot recently, in case you hadn't noticed. I found myself browsing the ice cream cabinets in the supermarket, a little bit grateful that the rest of you had practically cleaned them out.

Then I spied mini ice cream cones. Only 70 calories a cone. Perfect, I thought, a treat without too many calories.

The problem is that they are so mini (I have short fingers and they are smaller than my longest middle finger). I've eaten two instead of just one and I could easily have another two but I won't.

What have you done and then found you miss the objective?

Mini calippos. Same problem, I've eaten 3 today.

Also, the big Mini cars. What the hell is the point in that?

Calippos must be fewer calories than the Crunchie minis I bought. I've never understood the Calippo Shots. What's that about?

The Mini cars are bigger than my new Corsa. I don't think they should be called Mini when they're big.

Calippo shots are really pointless. You can't even lick them. Might as well just have a cold drink. I have been seduced into buying them before though...

What else would you have done with them? Could you sell them, like used knickers, do you think?

I was always think if you are going to have a treat, don't cut corners - do it properly.

"Thought this was about mini skirts"

I've eaten too many ice creams to wear a mini skirt.

a treat is not a proper treat until you are fully satisfied

"i celebrated a weight loss with a chinese takeaway lol"

Did you enjoy it?

About 1,000 years ago (and long before you were born) my sister and I would save all our ham, cheese and bread Weight Watchers allowance for after the weigh-in so that we could have toasties.

Find yourself something that you can enjoy as a treat. Perhaps something that isn't food, like flowers?

Congratulations on the weight loss and not derailing yourself with everything you ordered.

A friends stag party last night... I didn't exactly miss the objective but I'm definitely missing a few hours of short term memory and about £175.00!

I do the old trick of keeping my mullers in the freezer. Or frozen fruit added to natural yoghurt with a little meringue added to it healthy alternative to Ice cream. Also who makes frozen bananas with the kids add a little melted chocolate and hundreds and thousands or chopped nuts love them x

Jaffa cakes. Lower in fat then most cakes/biscuits, so a healthier option for my huge sweet tooth.

But not if you eat both packets of a double pack in one go.
