Just had my long, thick, gorgeous hair cut off!

Now wearing a short pixi cut.

What the FUCK was I thinking???????

The hot weather has finally got to me.

Hubby and kids keep looking at me and shaking their heads. Yep, theyre sooooo right!

Anyone else ever been to the hairdressers and walked out in tears?

xx

my gorgeous ex twianese/swedish gf from many mnoons ago , had the finest long black hair..I loved it...major attraction..then she decided on getting a perm out of the blue one day...quite a bit of a detraction after that....

to be honest I think its fine, what one wants to do with their body...but sometimes it pays better to ask for opinions...rather than coming hope, in tears and friends/family saying "that wasnt a good idea/thats horrible"

I hate the hairdresses... My hair as a child was past my bum could sit on it... My mum took me to the hairdresses for a trim hairdresser misunderstood and cut it all giving me a bob look just under my ears!! I cried for weeks never been back since... I cut and dye my own hair now...

I had something similar... as I had to have my hair cut to reduce damage and splitting.. So I had to have about 5 inches off... Mr told me I had a lesbo cut It is growing and has about recovered now x

I went to the hairdresser's spur of the moment aged 16 and had my waistlength red hair cut off into a pixie crop...I loved it but my mum and dad both cried when I got home

Should have saved it and knitted it back on.

Comes to something when you see the dog looking at you with a very confused look on his face.

I look like a female shot-putter!

At least one saving grace.....it does grow fairly quick.

Weve got our sons Passing Out Parade in a few months and he said "for godsake mum, wear a hat or a scarf! You look like a squaddie!"

xxx

I had dyed my hair black. I'd booked to have it stripped. They said it would ruin my hair & would cut the majority of the colour out which would make my hair healthier & reduce the root re-growth. I was devastated. I had to walk into my maths gcse looking like a boy. I got home & my Stepmum asked my sister who the boy in the lounge was

It did grow back & with regular cuts had a lovely shape to it. But I'll never go really short again unless I have to

I've had short hair most of my adult life now. Really miss having long hair.

Don't know what to do with it? Put it up.

Can't do that with short hair, have to style it every morning. I did touch up the colour today though
