I received a text back a long and at the end of it they put.... You twat!!!

To my horror I thought they were calling me a twat in a horrible way!

Unbeknown to me it's actually a nice-ish term up North!

What other sayings are there that I should be aware of

Anyone who lives in my part of the world or who is northern generally, will know that all swear words and all filthy words can be used in a jokey way. It all depends on the context. This can easily get lost in a text. As any northerner will know we are constantly joking and taking the piss out of each other. It fills up most of our lives. You just accept it. It's how we are. You southern cunts are pretty miserable fuckers so wouldn't understand this!
