There are 5,000 species of sponge in the world. Which ones are you on about?

I dread to think how and why that fact was sought and discovered!

If all Wales farted at once,

Lowestoft would end up in Amsterdam...

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Depends which way they're all facing, and with the welsh being such a contrary bunch, they'd all face different directions...meaning the net effect would be nil, geographically speaking.

Tut Silly! The oceans wouldn't go any deeper if we removed the sponges, technically the oceans would become slightly shallower without their physical presence, however the water volume would not change.

I'm more concerned with how the water sticks to the earth and doesn't fall off and put out the sun.

It's a shame the Welsh are not that organised.

Could also put all the sponges back in the ocean, to solve the problem of the rising sea levels.

...and how do we know other creatures can't do this? I think we should test all animals immediately!! Now where would you get a dolphin sized liquidiser?
