France should be stopping them at the point of entry into their country rather than allow them to travel all the way to Calais.

They turn a blind eye to the situation because they see it as passing on the problem.

By allowing the people smugglers to traffic into Europe is creating an increasing trend.

I suspect that very few of these people are genuine victims and asylum seekers.

Surely bombing *someone* must be the answer?

I'm not even sure it particularly matters who.

It can only be tackled by helping improve conditions in their own countries, so they have a hope of a future there. If we can't, or aren't prepared, to do that, then it is beholden on us to show them human kindness, while concentrating on the traffickers.
