"So Dino oil or fully syth? I'm running a bog standard 3ltr v6 with a twin webber. Which one would you recommend? I've always been a castrol man...." Personally I stand by frequent changes of a basic affordable oil will be much more effective than less frequent changes of supper dooper expensive oil. But then I do have the clutch friction pad material being in my engine oil so frequent changes to remove the bits is always good. I like castrol too.

I suspect that super expensive oils are only a benefit if you're constantly in full race, foot to the floor, drag the lights and drive it like you stole it mode all the time.

" Yeah in which case you'll definitely be needing very frequent changes which will get pricey fast :p I really should get round to passing my driving test I think my theory has expired now, is there a way to check?
