Just remember that any no show is not a reflection on you, but on them. Try not to get your hopes up too soon next time - I never believe they'll turn up right up until the last minute, and even then I'm all in disbelief.

Not by me he wouldn't, I still remember one particularly frustrating weekend we had on a previous site in our early days. So I remember exactly how she, and everyone who experienes this, feels. I know we're meant to become hardened to it, but it is hard and sometimes you have to make allowances when the frustration just makes you want to vent.

I had a similar experience a few weeks back, arranged a social, date time etc, messaged the morning of the meet to confirm then nothing. My final message was to say I take it they had changed their mind and wished them well. Gave it a week then blocked them. Only took a few seconds per text, not really wasted my time so no hassle. Really not worth stressing over things like this.

I had five no shows in one night OP. The thing is I knew they were all full of shit and wouldn't turn up but was going to the club anyhow . Par for the course on this site full of fantasists. Good job it was in a club. I only realised half way thro the night that they were all no shows. Didn't stop me having fun. Afterwards some had excuses (2 nans died how unlucky!) and wanted to meet again. Err.. how do I say this politely? ? I can't - 'fuck off.'

I was stood up 4 times in a row, when I 1st joined. The flood of messages had been daunting, so discovered filters pretty quick, lurked in forums and followed the advice threads, so wasn't my selection process, all were verified by meet!

Some just don't want to meet for real, the fantasy and a wank are enough for them. It's shitty, I left for a while, but I came back and have now met some damn lovely blokes! Chin up, tits out, xxx

I can honestly say in seven years it's never happened to me. Not because I'm gorgeous and irresistible but because I don't allow my time to be wasted.

No response to messages: move on.

Unable to find a time to meet: move on.

Unable to have social meet during my lunch hour/at the station after work so if no show I don't miss my train: move on.

Decide to work from home/tidy my knickers draw if no show I had plan b and c.

That's what's worked for me and the fact this is fantasy: sex is on offer. Some people act as if they've been offered a kidney, then the offer withdrawn!

This is why i only do spontaneous meets coz you don't even know if you're gonna want sex when it's time for you to meet or be in the mood for a social even.

I have planned meets in the past but it just pisses me off, i don't look forward to planning sex or my social life. I'm a free spirit.

This is exactly why I no longer do one on one socials or first meets outside of a club.

If they don't turn up to a group social I still have plenty of friends old and new to chat to, if they don't turn up to a club there's plenty others to choose from.

I've wasted far too much time in the past and now don't waste it or stress anymore. If someone really wants to meet me I post where I'll be. Even then I'd still estimate 9/10 who say they're coming to a club or social to meet me don't turn up! Grow a pair!
