if you're really struggling, hang it up in the bathroom and have a hot bath or shower - the steam should take care of most of the creases. Z

I'm usually good at ironing but the new shirt is different material and a nightmare, I'll ask next door to show me on this one

She's nearly 70 and her Hubby is not to well, she's like a second Mum to me

Kev it's possible to half the time it takes to iron your shirts.

Put your shirt on and tuck it into your trousers then draw a line in black waterproof marker around your waist.

Only iron above the line! Hey presto! Shirt ironing in half the time

Good idea, or alternatively just do the front and leave your jacket on. Z

I've got a cook, laundress, housekeeper, lover and best mate all rolled into one

....and all I have to do to keep her sweet is provide "stud" services

For the record though, I can iron a shirt too
