Batman v Superman...

...As a big old nerd I thought I would see what people's thoughts were on Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Ben Affleck as Batman?

Personally I think casting Gadot as WW is a disaster. Imagine Eva Green in the role? So sexy AND a total badass.

Affleck as Batman I am ok with. His career has boomed over the last 5 years and hes a solid actor. My dream choice would have been Karl Urban, who was excellent playing a dark and brooding character in Dredd.

I think a lot of people are acting like complete asshats over this, just like they did when Christian Bale got the Batman gig.

This film will be massive and everyone will eat their words over the casting once it comes out.

I do hope it is a massive hit, and that Gadot and Affleck are superb. I am not rooting for it to fail!

Urban would make a good Batman!

I'd like to see Eric Bana as Superman - it'll never happen though.

Batman aside.

Urban was brilliant in dredd, think that movie was hugely unappreciated when released and I think it's dvd, downloads have proved it's worthy of a sequel minus the slow mo scenes.

Afleck as the dark night.

Bale is a tough act to follow he made that role his own.

Ben just comes across as, too soft for the role a bit to magoo.

As for ww, not sure about that unless they go down the dark and brooding route can't see it appealing to today's audience.

Eva green,she certainly hot.

Love Batman but not really looking forward to Ben playing the part! Much rather they went down the Spider-Man route with relatively unknown actors as it adds to the darker unknown side of the character !

It's not the casting that worries me, it's snyder's (and dc's) obsession with making these films gritty and realistic. I want heroes that are larger than life the way they have always been in the comics. I understand the dark side to batman has to be represented but it's been done to death and 'man of steel' missed the mark by a LONG way.

Man of Steel was way too dark. Superman is supposed to be lighter, symbol of hope and all that jazz...they made him a moping killer! Although I though Henry Cavill did an ok job.

I am at the thought of seeing Margot Robbie! And I thought I would love Jared Leto as the Joker but the pics of him with the tattoos and teeth grill and purple car are just too cartoonish.
