EVER HAD ONE OF THOSE DAYS?

I must say it is a long time since I have had to stand there like a little lad and take a bollocking in front of a load of people in a public place.......... I had a right strip torn off me this morning for no good reason by some irate manager who in my humble opinion was suffering from a serious case of small man syndrom....... I wouldnt have minded had he took me to one side to tell me off but to do it infront of a store full of people ( many of whoom were shaking there head in disgust at him I may add ) is rather hard to take for any grown man........ The bloke is not even my manager and he is the manager of a place I was visiting to do a job for at the place that I work and I pointed this out to him in a rather polite and very calm manner I.............. I felt like saying do us a favour lad just stick ya chin out abit more please, yes thats far enough right lad there ya go and BUSHACK eeeeeeeeeer have an elbow to the face already!..... What can you do tho but just bite your tonge and try to remain calm.

You should raise a grievance with head office. What the manager in question has done has a name. It's called bullying.

I had a manager do something similar many, many moons ago.

I made a complaint and asked to be moved out of the department at the earliest possible opportunity.

I essentially said, to the person I spoke to, that my instinctive reaction would likely have seen me hit the guy or resign - neither of which would have been a positive step for me.

Now I'm not the sort of person who goes in for violence, but I made a point of saying this in order to stress how furious I was over the situation
