Are you referring to an iPod Touch?

If so they are awesome, the only reason I don't have one is because my iPhone does the job.

Basically they are iPhones without telephony and even that is becoming less of a point as you can run Skype on them and Apple facetime (with an internet connection).

Meh! overpriced bling boxes!

I'd go for a Zoon instead - basically the the same thing but you aren't stuck in the ring fenced nazi concentration camp that is iTunes ....... and fab chat works ok on Android

seriously tho,one thing pisses me off. My son bought me an ipod years ago. 2nd gen i think.he was quite young and it cost,for him,a huge amount of money. couple of years later its useless. i use a pc and its not backwards compatible

Siren brought herself an iPhone and promptly dropped it into a cup of tea in less than 24 hours.

Seems to be ok but tbh I think it's a shit piece of kit. Crap as a phone and the HTC is far better as a personal app device.

my parents bought me an ipod touch for christmas last year and i wasnt keen on the idea at first but its the best gift ive ever received! i love it, if its not in my hand its next to me - music, film/telly, books, games, apps, internet (wifi)... seems to do much the same as in iphone without the phone bit?

My kids have them and love them, they have thousands of songs on there though, I cant see the point it in, theres no way they would listen to them all - im just showing my age I think

Bought myself an ipad, but my kid and grandson use it more than I do...even my friends ring up and ask can they bring the kids to play on it.
