To me any winks are pointless.

If someone is too shy to actually make written contact then its going fast.

I delete mine every now and again, and unless its the very top name, don't even notice them

Time for a rant! Why do some folks bother to send a wink and when it is followed up by ourselves we get no reply, not even a "no thanks". We have a full profile, if it doesn't appeal DONT WINK!

The ' wink ' is a quick way to like a profile. If a wink is returned then that is the opener for the original winker to send a message.

However.....I get lots of winks from men, women and couples who are all looking for very different things to me and what I want.....

It days on the first line of our profile we don't respond to winks. We still get around 10 to 20 a day. Just shows how many people send them that don't even read a word of your text.

I get winks from the same people over and over again.. never messages? I've even messaged them to say hello and got no reply?

Can't see the point in them.. even more so the hidden profiles

Do you think they forgot to unhide it? Does it give you a message when you login to say your profile is hidden? I'm guessing not everyone looks at their own profile. Is it hidden from yourself?

Nothing wrong with a wink, you can go straight to the profile and make your mind up instantly. I've done it loads of times.......well,once.
