MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

Its entirely individual and between the 2 people involved.

I don't get easily involved, and at 38 have only very recently fallen in love for the first time ever.

there's many differences between how men and women interact socialy. I don't think this is one of them.

any idea why people only seem to put 'next' when they reply to a post about the difference between sexs?

Because it's boring to debate differences when you're constrained by a question that asks you to lump all the people of the world into two groups defined by if you reckon they have a penis or not?

It was a perfectly well formed and expressed opinion. If you don't like it ... And would that not make for a rather boring forum? I know, differences of opinion should not be allowed.

I'd say it's 50/50.

The only difference is in how each sex shows it

From my experience it's men. But I don't meet women so it's a bit one sided as I don't get attached.

Anecdotally, from people who've been involved with another person getting inappropriately attached/clingy/loved-up/jealous etc; men.

Think it can be either. I remember two occasions of a guy saying he loved me and I thought - whoa that's too much too soon! I married one of them in the end though - having said to him when he initially said it that I had no idea how I felt at the time.

I have become attached to a male without it reciprocated. At this moment in time. A guy has become attached to me where it is not reciprocated. Therefore I think its down to the individual rather than a particular sex.
