im talking about gps here, do they actually mend people?

personaly they have never with me, the worst was when i was sixteen i hurt my back badly. he recomended surgery to fuse my lower spine, i said i wouldnt be able to do my job if i couldnt bend, he said no prob i will sign you off for life. i was sixteen ffs.

needles to say i didnt take him up on the very kind offer, found a chiropractor who had me walking in 2 weeks, but makes you wander how many people on sick benifit could be sorted and back to work with proper care

My GP is great. I came off the bike in feb and had a persistent neck problem that the hospital failed to sort. He got me some treatment at his clinic and i am pretty much back to normal now so thumbs up to mine.

my gp was fabulous when my ex walked out of my life 6 years ago while i was recovering from major surgery ...he sorted me out some conselling and was generally wonderfull !! he is a 34 yr old liverpudlian pakistani ......i couldnt hvve asked for a better doctor ...ooh and he saved my grand daughters life too !!!

pleased for you, maybe ive just had bad ones, all he seems to do is either refere me to someone else, or offer antibyotics.

i had cancer for a year before he spotted it, despite me going back again and again saying something wrong, he just told me i was working to hard and needed a holiday!!!!!!!!

My last 3 doctors have been so damn wonderful all of them said i was their "special" patient lol. The first one that left wouldnt tell me he was leaving made my mum do it lol, gave me a huge hug when he went, then the next one was as lovely and this one has only been here a few months but hes taken to standing up, shaking my hand and putting his hand in mine lol.

My specialist is equally as wonderful. I think im extremely lucky

You certainly are. Statistically, four handshakes with medical professionals and you should have MRSA!
