I can make pasta and I mean from scratch not boil it up

my family came over from sicily to go into business we had a few restaurants, well some members still own them, I was taught from a young age how to cook and all our dishes were prepaired from scratch, it was always my job as an older child to do the pasta, I used to make all the ravioli, lasagne etc

I'll never be a size 8

Truro

I make a mean bowl of Cornflakes

I do like smoked mackerel and like to have mine "warmed" so it has crackly skin and with sweet chilli sauce.

Now I honestly don't know if I invented this but this is how I do it.

Heat a not stick pan to very hot and put the fillets in skin side down so they start to sizzle straight away.

After about 20-30 seconds pour in some sweet chilli sauce that will start to caramelise straight away.

Another 10 and seconds tip onto a plate.

Eat straight away.

Tried it will a lettuce and diced celery and onion salad and it hits the spot for me.

I call it "Mackerel Jack" and it's ace
