Right, now, I'm not the sharpest pencil in the box, so can anybody tell me how cats are always associated with eating fish?

As far as I'm aware, they don't like to go near deep water, and even when they are thirsty they drink from puddles.

They climb trees, sit on roofs, and walk on top of walls.

How the fuck do they come across fishes??????

Or am I missing summat?

Don't know, as mine does not like fish, and I have given up cooking fresh fish for her.

She likes to drink out of the toilet and eat the dog's food when he is not looking. If that keeps her happy, then so be it!

Cats ancestors , the Egyptian cats lived in the wild marshes near The Nile, and helped themselves to the huge supplies of fresh fish..thats where ( allegedly) they got the taste for fish xx

ok I concur that cats originate from ancient Eygpt, but what about Barn owls before we had barns, field mice when there were only meadows, hedge sparrows when the bushes grew wild, house sparrows when we lived in caves or mud huts ? and why don't they call them Eygptian origin felines.

And where do all the baby Pigeons hang out.

Tigers love water and swimm regularly.

Lions are frightened of water

But in Tigons and Ligers, the tiger genes take over and the do like swimming

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

You can put allsorts of "human" food in front of my cat and she won`t touch it! Cream, Sunday dinner, fish fingers, ham, even boiled cod! Turns her nose up at it! She`ll occasionally give you a "you eat that shit?" look But open a tin of sardines and she`s there like a shot!

Does anyone want a Bengal pedigree cat ...

Our frigging cat is far too much like felix - it eats tuna and has been relegated to the garden due to its poor behaviour - yesterday in front of guests after letting it in and making a fuss..

It proceeded to fart and shit - extremely runny and wide covering shit all over the living room florr - I have tried to convince Di that it needs a christmas sack and river treatment - even tried spilling soy sauce on it in front of eastern visitors but it is proving the nine lives theory...

as Henry said who will rid me of this troublesome...

anyone know the green bin lady?

"maybe its because pussies smell like fish"

It is actually the other way round, don't you read the bible.

Adam and Eve ate an apple then had sex, 2 minutes later Adam smoked a fag and Eve washed herself in the sea thus making all fish smell like her pussy.

I blame cartoons, they always show cats eating fish and mice eating cheese.

A lot of cats love cheese, but mice don't seem to be mad on it.

Anyway, I must go Acme have just delivered my rocket powered roller-skates and a crossbow that fires sink plungers..

Cats feeding preferences seem to be:

Anything you have...until you give it them.

Mummified, long dead mammals and birds...often left as a 'treat' for the pet upright.

Frogs.

Worms.

Grass...inevitably followed by the 'travelling puke'.

The 'other' tin of food.

Anything in the fridge.

our cat loves strawberries and grapes. we have to cut them in half and hold them while he licks them.

he has us well trained

he also appears to have the ability to say 'prawns' and 'out'

but maybe that's us misinterpreting 'miaow'
