I feel tired all the bloody time!

I have a rare full day to myself today so thought I would go for a swim then do some cleaning and some work I have to get done.

Instead I woke up at 12, finally managed to go downstairs and eat something after a couple of hours.. Then I fell asleep on the couch!

I'm just wasting my weekend doing nowt

Does anyone else do this? I can't work out how to get motivated.

Rather than dropping to the sofa, get yourself out for a walk for an hour

Could be dehydration most people don't drink enough, or if you know you're off your mind and body could have gone into a decompression mode to relax

"Rather than dropping to the sofa, get yourself out for a walk for an hour"

I really should do. I think because a walk is me actually getting away from the things I should be doing rather than just avoiding them around me, I feel guilty for making that choice.

Drink more water.

And try Floradix. I'm usually not a great believer in multivitamins but this stuff is magic. It's a liquid one.

You can get it on Amazon or from Holland and Barratt. I can't function the same without it!

I really don't drink enough water any more. When I got out of bed this morning, everything hurt, I had the worst hangover ever and I didn't drink last night probably lack of water

Naughty lady, hydration is just about the most important thing you can influence re' your wellbeing and health. At least 2 litres a day should be taken on, in this weather now though you should look at nearly double that.

I think its also okay to rest sometimes, take a chilled weekend, we spend much too much time rushing. Our weeks consist of up at six and not home until seven or eight and then its care of elderly parents and teens, so often not to bed until eleven or twelve, so we do take a break at the weekends. Just woken from our afternoon nap .... lovely.

I think I work better in the evenings, so tend to do things after work in the week. Come the weekend I'm just ready for doing nothing! I'm out all day tomorrow then busy again all next week!

I am too harsh on myself but when it's nice weather I feel like I should make the most of it.. Even if the idea was just studying outside

I've had 3 huge lie-ins this week, past 3 days i slept until dinner time and been really tired. Just go with it, you might be coming down with something in this weather and your body needs the rest to fight it off.

Like others said drinking more water could help as well.

Your body is maybe saying it needs a rest so why not rest and the cleaning and stuff will get done I am sure .. Just rest up eat well and sleep well .. if keep feeling run down go to docs get some blood tests as could be low in different things make you feel like sleeping a lot. xx

Sorry, I know I am just tired, I know it could be worse!

I did go to the docs last year as I get dizzy spells quite a lot, they said there's nothing wrong, other than my weight

I do feel odd on a regular basis though so will definitely try out that flu-wotsit that someone mentioned

Maybe you're just one of these lazy people?

No shame in that, not everyone is a fuzzball of energy.

Are you overweight?

Generally I find physical exercise very good. perk up your body with endorphins, makes you feel better.

Especially true after a night on the lash - sweat out the booze and you feel better

Yes I am overweight, and yes my diet is poor at the moment. I know I need to change it, and make this a priority. It's too easy to eat rubbish when I seem to be doing something most evenings and only eat at 10pm!

Some people who know me tell me I am trying to do too much, but then I have a day like yesterday and I think I'm just a lazy arse

How's your diet?

what you eat can really affect your energy.

If you're used to lots of sugary or simple carb foods you'll generally feel quite tired most of the time.

Moving over to less cars but more importantly changing to low gi cars and a healthy balance diet can. Seriously help with energy levels.
