I met this girl for a date a few weeks ago.

One problem was that she was definitely 10 years older than her profile.

Second problem was the eyebrows- the kind where you immediately wonder about that persons sanity,

Like how can you look in a mirror and think that is good?

Anyway, had a few drinks+ and she invited me to hers for sex. What the hell, I'm single so why not. Probably oldest girl I have ever fucked.

Turns out I was right - complete fucking nutter.

Should've walked on when I saw the eyebrows, believe they are called scouse eyebrows but she was Brazilian

Any curious women - as well as men - please seriously consider whether this look will upgrade your looks.

Some guys could probably do a better finish with a flymo/strimmer and creosote, for long lasting effects. There's all kinds of nonsense being sold to boost your brows, when a healthy diet is all you need - plus the right genetics and not having plucked to oblivion in the past.

i've seen some friends on the book of faces that have had tattooed brows and it's like they've deliberately gone for jet black marker pen look. It's awful!

I 'do' my eyebrows every day. Filled, the works, but I do it well so they look good and much better than if I left them to their own devices.

it's not like they go hell for leather with black ink. My sisters look like they never need plucking, nicely shaped and looks like just a bit of brow pencil has been added.

You have to have the right overall look to get the desired effect. I think they look odd when the brows have been drawn closer together. It makes them look manly.

Sometimes they look ridiculous! But there's not more satisfying to me than when my eyebrows are on point. I notice everyone's eyebrows. I actually use it against people. Bit of a fetish I think haha.

I totally judge people based on their eyebrows too, male and female. If they look wrong on their face I think it displays poor judgement

(This tends to work more against men who over groom theirs)

So what does HD actually stand for? Heavy duty? Erm... I'm naturally a blonde, but unnaturally bright red, I pencil them in lightly, I have too they are fair.

When I'm chatting to someone I tend to chat to their brows.. If they are Nike tickish like

.. Still saves gorging at their boobs I guess.. My freind has them lightly tattooed though.. And they look good.

I naturally have more hair at the head of my eyebrows and at the tail it becomes sparse...

I do mine maybe once every few weeks as they are so fair, but I just pencil them with a medium brown pencil, they look totally natural. I love seeing the 'Disney villain' ones popping up on FB, they always give me a good laugh

Mine are blonde (dye my hair too), so look non existent at times. I rarely pluck them, just wax them every 6 weeks or so.

Not a fan of the badly done ones but when done correctly they can look good but I'm more a wax em girl .Atm they resemble Edward Heaths as I've an apt wed for a full pamper session they will be waxed and looking good. When I dye my hair I always dye my brows at the same time too. Often forget I've got the dye on then end up scrubbing them as the blue/black tends to stick to your skin more...can look very fetching

Yeah there's still some hair there but they've been filled in with the tattoo. They do individual hair strokes not just a block of colour, when you look closely they do look like individual hairs.

When you hold a pencil against the side of your nose your eyebrows should start where the pencil reaches, when you hold the pencil from your nose then diagonally past your eye, the highest point in your eyebrow, the arch should be in line with your pupil (iris) then the end of your eyebrow should end above the outer corner of your eye, again measuring from your nose outwards.

A good permanent make up technician will draw lines on your face to measure the dimensions of where your brows will be and obviously they'll pencil in what they will look like before they start the tattoo.

I have to admit to plucking the longest of my eyebrow hairs. I have long eyelashes with long, curly eyebrows, and occasionally they get entangled together.

Having said that the only time I waxed them was when I was trying to see if I could coax them into a handlebar moustache shape.

And technically, since I didn't have proper wax, I may have used lard
