FabSwingers.com forum: No shows and fakes. Name and shame or move on?

Morning all, how does everyone feel about this? We've all been stood up at times, sometimes for genuine reasons I'm sure. But there's also the no show from unverified profiles followed by a block. Do we name and shame these people so that others don't waste their time on them?

Good idea ...... lets start with you. You set up a meet with myself and four other closet bi men we were so looking forward to it. Then an hour before meet you block us all....... totally untrue but highlights the problem

But surely it's in everyone's interest to out time wasters. I even googled her email and it appears to be a scammer. I've seen plenty of status updates bad mouthing people but I think I'll avoid that route.

No you can't as its against the rules to name and shame whether on your own profile, status or the forums. And there are two sides to a story not just yours

Rugbygeezer11 was meant to meet me last night but couldn't be bothered to show up, timewaster!

Now, we both know this isn't true but where's the proof? Name and shame is not allowed for this reason, one person's word against another and open to abuse.

If people no show there is an option to report to admin

It's against site rules and open to abuse. Report, block and move on. Oh and be prepared for a lot more. Sites full of them.

If it appears to be a fake or scammer profile, then report the profile to admin. Otherwise, you'll be n the naughty step.

Name and shame isn't allowed, so the best thing to do is report if they didn't let you know and block
