When sending your initial message to a hopeful meet, I've been trying the polite approach and it doesn't seem to be getting much, if any, response, should I try a more vulgar route like my fello single guys? What type of message do you prefer to receive, straight to the point or an introductory message asking if interested in chatting first and seeing where it leads?

I'd always say the polite approach.

You've not been here long, and that sometimes counts against you, but patience, and joining in the forums, will help get you noticed.

I've been on this site before, like a lot seem to mention in their profile text, I didnt bother putting it in as it seems irrelevant. But thanks for your input

I've been watching the forums for a while and most do complain about single guys 3 word messages, and I don't think I'm better than anyone else here, and I've been trying to stand out since I joined, its quite possible that I'm not what most are looking for?

I look at a profile before I read the message to see if I like the look of them or not if I don't I just delete the message you will find most Women take this approach

As is the case in the real world, you tend to hear more about peoples bad experiences than good and that applies here too.

I would suspect that the guys sending these 'bad' messages may actually be in a minority, but since we never really hear about people getting a decent message it's very difficult to quantify any possible ratio or even make a comment about which 'type' of bloke is in the majority.

Yes a lot of people make jokes and complain about the one liner guys but say 50% are one liners that still leaves 4 guys and you in the running.

So what's special about you?

What can you offer that they can't?

I'm sorry to burst your bubble but you're nothing special, at all.

Lower your expectations and keep trying. Look at other single successful guys and take notes.

Oh and if you can't accommodate because of that family that's more baggage that a lot of people don't want when there's 30 younger, hotter guys with bigger cocks who Can access.

Mentioning you've been here before probably acts against those that say it. There are a lot of people who join and leave regularly. It's not a good way to show you're genuinely meeting and/or reliable.

Agreed, I've seen some crude messages and statuses from single guys and do wonder why they think they would get a response
