I'll soon be in Cardiff and ready to start the day !

Been up since 5:15; leave home at 6:00; bus to Chester gets me to the station at 7:05; and train to Cardiff gets in at 10:00.

Return home tomorrow and get back at 7:10 pm

Glad I only do this once a week

From the bottom of the stairs to the top. Commute complete. And it's awesome every day apart from the traffic jam caused by cats blocking the stairs

Cheeseville, Somerset

Right now?

Terrible.

Get up at 8 - sort the breakfast for the shrimp and do the school run (5 minutes/3 miles each way)

Get home - make coffee. Drink coffee.

Load woof into car. Head to beach (10 minutes/5 miles)

2 hours on beach and a coffee pit stop.

Return home and chill til school run time again.

Repeat of woof run in early evening.

I'm no longer a commuter. I'm a child/dog chauffeur!

A

Just a 2 mile drive (one way) for me locally. Beats the 26 mile round trip I used to do on motorway for 5 looooooooong years

Titz Towers, North Notts

10 minutes there, 10 minutes back, once a week. Albeit, I don't come home for 4 days in a row, but still it's rather pleasant.

Manchester

70 mile round trip 2 days then 2 nights. The traffic after nights is a joke so use the bike on nights car on days. Its crap but the money makes up for it

Later today I have to drag myself upstairs to the printer, I don't know how I'm going to manage. I'll need a cup of tea after. On the downside I often get a phone call late at night I have to take.

1-1.5 hours each way across London

15 minutes from my front door to my desk and costs me about £30 a month. Pretty fucking awesome.

The downside is I have a huge mortgage to enable me to live in a neighbourhood where I can do this, but it's totally worth it to me. I could have a bigger, nicer, cheaper house elsewhere but I'd have to battle with traffic or long public transport journeys to do so.

"25 mins (on Fab forums) to and from work on Metro. "

Lol

I travel all over the country for work mostly London so an hour journey can take 6-8 hours.

I leave my house around five an hour early to miss traffic and get some breakfast when I arrive.

Bless showers in a can!

Horsham

Out the door at 3.15am, 3 mile cycle ride to the coach station then a 45 minute journey to work.

Wait half an hour to and hour and a half for my coach home, then 3 to 6 mile ride home.

It varies, some days crystal drops me off and picks me up. Other days it's 15 minutes on the train one way and 10 minutes on the train home before getting off a stop early and running home. But my favourite is 15 miles of decent countryside on my bike and a slughly longer but quieter and even more scenic ride home
