Lifes little woes

So yesterday, I'm leading Clarissa's polo pony to gym and the bloody animal only goes and throws a shoe. I mean - I know the farrier we use is more Aldi than Waitrose and one must cut cloth accordingly these days but I'm sure you can all imagine the shame we felt watching chukkas without the little poppet taking part. To complete muck my day up even further the Malbec Sebastian served with the foie gras was only corked. When I fired him on the spot he muttered something about benefits but I was too upset to listen.

I'm sure these austerity cuts are effecting you too. I know I can rely on your sympathy to see me through today.

That's OK, the moat will keep them out!

I bet you have a cracking drawbridge!

Life can be tricky. My boss (the stuck up steward) just sacked me for serving corked wine.

I had to have a butler put down as we could no longer afford to keep 2.

I can empathise here.

I had to make a choice earlier, who to let go, the chap who cuts the crusts off of my cucumber sandwiches or the chap who clips my cigars?

Life can be so cruel, one really shouldn't be put in this position.

I've decided to cheer myself up by shooting a few grouse and the occasional peasant.

Yes, I did spell that correctly...

Menston near Ilkley

The silly old twat thought the wine was corked, obviously he's never tasted nightshade before.

Off to spend my lottery winnings now, job done!

That's the trouble with new money they do not get their priorities right.

How can you compete without the best shoes on ones pony, it's like shoeing the shooting-brake with retreads and getting stuck on a shoot.

If you have to cut corners eat pheasant rather than that foreign muck, after all it’s only fit for the hounds!
