West Dublin

We recently visited a couple of clubs in Manchester

and all the men were in towels. Women could dress naughty if they wish. But men were handed these towels on the way in. Not sure if anyone would agree . but I like to see a man dressed to impress. We have been to a club in Birmingham and the men stay dressed in there own casual wear . which I think is much sexier. What do you fabbers think

the rules are going to very much be dependant on the clubs that you go to on the nights that you go... so maybe the men didn't have the option...

If it's an immediate dress down club then men can't stay in casual wear. We have a few of these in the North West.

I don't like dress down clubs either. Generally speaking most people look better dressed to impress, both male and female. Something very unsexy about seeing the goods beforehand and I personally find it a turn off. I'd much prefer to see a smartly dressed man, have a chat and flirt etc, before undressing.

This is going to sound awful, but I'd also give more men a chance, as id be drawn to their face and chatter, rather than their height/gut/tattoos and all the other things which are purely physical.

Plus, I hate being gawped at.

i have only been to one club where you stay dressed in the main rooms etc....for me it made everything seem seedier seeing the men with their trousers round their ankles as they get their end away etc.

i much prefer wet clubs with towels. At Chams men can wear either shorts/boxers or a towel.

The one thing I don't like about none dress down clubs is people tend to shower less

I've been to a few and gone to a room, got undressed, had a play then got dressed again after then gone for a shower but its amazing how many men I have played with don't do this, a lot have a shag, get dressed and then back to the bar on the pull, where as in clubs where people just wear towels they seem to be more willing to shower between sessions, maybe because keep getting dressed and undressed is to much like hard work

hmmm yes I can see this too... It's a hard one as at private parties, it can tend to become a little "multi play", before any showers are taken. I quite like that aspect. But then again, I also don't tend to do one to ones in clubs. Much prefer some group action

I suppose it's different for women as they don't have to wear towels, but I prefer dress down clubs as I'd sooner wear sexy underwear in a club that cloths

I love corsets etc and don't often get the chance to wear them which is why I prefer clubs where I can wear underwear, I feel much sexier is a corset, stocking and heels than cloths, even if its dressed up nice

Would it not make sense to have say.....a flirt area were you can have a chat drink and get to know someone then if you decide to play then go though and undress.

When i say this i mean a seperate area from the bar.

Just a thought.

I'm not too keen on non dress down clubs. May as well go to a regular night club. Dress down is a great leveller. It's a swingers club. Can't stand it when men are fully dressed letching at women who have dressed down. To me that's seedy. Get ya kit off boys!!

The Women/Men could just stay dressed and still look stunning,

Then remove items of their clothes as the flirting progresses

I don't mind either the dressed or towel club.

What I don't like are the clubs that are both. You are dressed in the bar/social areas but have to go into the lockers get changed into a towel just to go into the play areas.

For me it just makes it a bit awkward and I lose the moment.

I don't like dress up clubs because I don't really dress up well and that makes me feel self concious, suppose a bit like wearing a towel makes some men feel

We had our first visit to a club the other week and it was a dress down club which was quite daunting. Surprisingly when we got there it was so relaxed it just seemed normal to see men in towels, a couple had shorts on and ladies in lingerie. Completely agree with every one being on a level pegging also.

Maybe the answer is a time limit? you can stay dressed until 11 half 11 and then its dress down? gives everyone time to socialise while dressed and then helps play flow later?

I'm curious... how do you let them know your a TV/TS? Are you upfront about it? Or is it pretty obvious? Sorry to ask if its too personal... but, being straight, I'd want to know... so it'd be good to know if there's an etiquette about this situation.

I love showing off my buff bod, so it doesnt bother me really...

but seriously..

my aim is to play in a club(with the social banter thrown in)...

sexy gear is designed for women, for most getting dressed up in dress down gear is a big attraction I think..sussies etc etc..

I cant see much point in guys jumping around in shirts n suits.

its also good to see couples properly engaged on the scene..I mean ffs, we rarely see the male half in profiles anyway....I think men dressing down also stops that trophy wife syndrome.

In Xtasia West Bromwich its a dress to impress/casual club where as Chameleons Darlaston is the towel/shorts/boxers variety

We have visited Chameleons a few times but not been to Xtasia, even though we enjoy Chameleons it would be great to be in a more casual/smart dress club for a change cause lets face it its great seeing a towel slip from the guys waist but getting your hands on his belt and zipper is so much more sexier lol

It takes away the element of sexiness like getting undressed and seeing people in there clothes!!

Even though people party to have sex with each other...

It's nice that people have to chance to get undressed!

Not wrapped in a towel and straight away straight into sex!

Way to go....

Just waiting for this comment. Who on earth what want everything to always be the same everywhere when you have the opportunity to try different things at different times to suit different moods.

I could not imagine the Chameleons towel shuffle guys getting on down in Xtasia and by the same token the dress up nature of Xtasia would go down like a lead balloon at Chams.

Thank goodness there are both options!

Actually at the risk of being a little controversial the one thing that is a bit irritating about Chams is the number of larger guys shuffling around in towels that are wrapped around their chest - just below moob level. There are of course no shortage of fit guys wandering around in boxers or towels doubled up and worn hipster style but our preference would be that dress down for guys should mean, boxers, shorts, thong or speedo's (lol) defo not a towel wrapped around the chest.

I go to chameleons, and its either a towel or boxer shorts or other underwear. I've never gone for the towel option, always prefer to wear a sexy pair of boxers, thats what i feel more comfortable in and i just would'nt feel sexy walking around in a towel all night.

I also like xtasia where you can stay fully dressed, lucky to have xtasia and chams which are both local to me in the west midlands, two different clubs in terms of dress code but i enjoy them both equally.

For me the more real it is the more sexy. A bunch of naked bods just feels unreal and with no mystery. Also if people went out of their way to wear erotic sexual gear I think I'd just find it weird. Give me a woman bursting out of her work clothes anyday

Having said that I would love a wonderful romantic swinging night where everyone dressed up like something out of a period drama... long flowing dresses, deep velvets, and guys with waistcoats and cravats lol

We are fairly regular at Chams because we like the relaxed nature of not having to be dressed so the most you will ever find either of us wearing is a towel.

A club not so many miles away

I attend many clubs and have only come across a couple that allow the men to stay dressed while in the play rooms/areas. I find this very uncomfortable and prefer a man in a towel anyday. Not to mention the odour of external environment that they usually waft in with them, from cigarette smoke to their recent visit to the chippy. How off putting. However in the social areas I feel a person should be able to chose whether they dress down or not and at their own pace. Some people use the club's as a social gathering place and in that instance; they would not need to dress down.

Why would any club let dressed people into play areas?

If I was naked on a bed playing and some fully dressed guy came over and tried to join in I'd be very pissed off

I also would be really uncomfatuble if I was naked being watched buy a group of dressed guys

I also would be really uncomfatuble if I was naked being watched buy a group of dressed guys "

CFNM is much more fun.

"I attend many clubs and have only come across a couple that allow the men to stay dressed while in the play rooms/areas. "

A Club where the attendee's smell of chips is probably an idea for a comedy sketch or a top ten of worst Clubs in England.

Anyone comes near us smelling of anything other than clean clothes and nice perfume / after shave will not get much conversation out of us. Accepted that you get disrespectful people who wear dirty and unkept clothes but they will be just as disgusting in a dress down Club.

Next time you go to Chams just watch how many single guys go to the shower after they have dressed down. Those that don't, they will be the same ones that go to dress up Clubs in clothes smelling of chips and dirty shoes.

It's the people who go the Clubs that matter not whether the Club is dress up or dress down.

"I love clubs like chameleons where the guys are in shorts or a towel. I can get to the 'goods' in seconds

I'm curious... how do you let them know your a TV/TS? Are you upfront about it? Or is it pretty obvious? Sorry to ask if its too personal... but, being straight, I'd want to know... so it'd be good to know if there's an etiquette about this situation."

I don't mind you asking.

I think it's pretty obvious and if you look at my pics you'll see. I don't try and change my voice either so if you talk to me that's a major giveaway.

I'm totally upfront about who and what I am.

I have been face down between someone's thighs before and had a guy take hold of my hips. I looked round and spoke which surprised him to find I wasn't the girl he expected. Lol. Luckily for us both we were both bi and, er, carried on

"

Most clubs only allow dressed TVs/TSs in on bi nights so if your straight......I'm sure you can work the rest out "

I didn't know most clubs don't let us in on straight nights. I've been to several dressed and been made very welcome every time.

Ab fabs let me join as a girl although they did charge me as a guy. They let me know it wasn't a bi night but still made me welcome. One of my best and busiest nights. Loved it

This I will agree with. When you are comfortable. Not given a towel as you enter the club.

" ...........

I love corsets etc and don't often get the chance to wear them which is why I prefer clubs where I can wear underwear, I feel much sexier is a corset, stocking and heels than cloths, even if its dressed up nice"

And you have an excellent choice of corsets to NN as if you remember I complimented you one night in Chams.

As for the guys in shorts or underwear, well apart from different colours and styles, there isn`t that much choice out there! You ladies have so many different styles, materials, colours and set-ups to choose from! Teddies, bra and panties, g strings, open crotch/peek-a-boo, platform bras, corsets ...... grrrrrrrrrr!

Ross-on-Wye

Many of the European clubs have the same rules for guys as for girls - sexy undies. I love guys in satin boxers!
