I'd not trust it.. And if never rely on someone else for my contraception.

Btw obviously I use condoms on here I'm just saying even in a relationship I'd take responsibility for my own contraception

Aye let them have a bit of complicated things that come with contraception.

I think there are risks of side effects from any and we have dealt with it

Condoms are a must to keep yourself safe from std's but I wouldn't rely on them for contraception.

Why would it be anymore dangerous than female contraception?

I wouldn't trust anyone else when it come to covering my own arse (and condoms would always be used with Fab meets anyway).

But it's about time you men took some more of the responsibility.

You can deal with the bloating and mood swings for once!

I think it's great that men will be able to protect themselves in the same way that women can.

Hopefully men into swinging, etc, will take the pill just as many women do.

I think condoms would be essential in swinging. Regardless of whatever other contraception methods are being used.

In a relationship I like responsibility for that. And as such have the coil. But extra precautions are never a bad thing

im sure I'm not the only guy to have unplanned children.

I've had the snip now so I won't have to trust women to take it.

Condoms are of course used for non long term partners.

My understanding was this being an injection into the scrotum not a pill to take as such, also I heard it lasts for 10 years and they'd have to have another solution inserted if they wanted to have children before the 10 years is up.

Don't know, I think there's a difference between taking a pill and putting a syringe in a guys scrotum... I wouldn't let anything sharp near them, 1 slip and you might get the snip. 10 Years of it being inside your dick can't be good either. Just screams run away to me.

You mean, just like the coil implant that women have? That's five years.

Or the arm implant? Three years for that one.

The depo injections take over a year to work their way out of your blood stream.

And the pill side affects can stay around for about a year too.

I would imagine it's as corrosive as having the coil fitted inside a womans cervix or having 3 years worth of hormone implanted under the skin. Anyway i wouldnt trust a man to have this done. Within a year every guy will be saying "It's ok i'm on the male contraceptive." Sure pal.
