Just seen on the news they're letting him out but won't deport him because his own country refused to have him as a citizen?? Wtf!!!!! Am i mental. I bet none of those twats who made that decision lost anyone in the 7/7 bombings. Yeah stay, no worries and come and stab me while your here!!!!! Ffs!! Oh but i forgot he's 'armless

I thought it was just me clearly misreading the paper as surely that could not be right....someone so dangerous their own country wont let them back but we are keeping him in case his human rights are breached

I think the wording is that he 'could' be released next year so as not to infringe on his human rights...underneath a ruling by the European Court.

Had we (the british) not dragged our heels in revoking his rights to citizenship, the egyptians wouldn't have gotten in there first

I think some lateral thinking is required here. Hamza was jailed for 7 years, and under our parole system he is eligable for release if he no longer deemd a threat to society. That's hardly likely is it. So he'll serve out his sentence and then he'll be released. British justice is seen to be done and out he comes, to continue spewing out his hate-filled bilge and, hey presto, straight back inside he goes for a longer tarrif.

Why let the yanks have him who may or may not jail him when we can be assured that now he's in our legal targetting sights we can lock the fucking wanker up as soon as he opens his fat ugly gob.

Hopefully he'll just piss off somewhere else on his release but then if he does, what's to stop him orchestrating and even more violent capaign of hate against the UK.

No, far better to keep him here, heavily censored and mightily pissed off about it. And then toss his hook handed ass in jail everytime he steps out of line.

Under International Law he couldn't have his British passport stripped as that would leave him without a state, and like it or not International Law trumps all national laws regarding citizenship.

Wishy is right, he will only be released early from prison if he is deemed safe to enter back into society....and that is highly unlikely.

I am not convinced that he will be extradited to the USA as they are struggling to come up with any hard evidence that would see him stand trial in the States, and again under our extradition agreement with the USA there has to be probable cause before extradition is undertaken.

Hamza won't be able to shit the wrong shape on his eventual release from prison, his days of preaching hatred are well past him. Once you have been convicted for enciting murder and racism it makes any second conviction a certainty.

Please don't give me a sob story about the computer hacker and his extradition, to hack into US military and Intelligence websites in the middle of a war against terrorism isn't any accident....he knew exactly what he was doing and for all we know he could have been acting for a terrorist cell, collating information for further attacks......so he will have to pay for his crimes like anyone else would.

the other Problem with trying to extradite him to the USA is that under British and EU you can't if what he is being charged for has the possibility of the "death sentence" hanging over it.....

so that means you would have to get them to agree to only persue a sentence of "life without parole"...... and with anything concerning 9/11 it is a pill a lot of people will have trouble swallowing......

But a prison sentence is the tariff laid down in English Law for the offence he was found guilty of, and we live under English Law in this country.

Well said Jane , the very fact that Abu Hamza was tried by a jury of his peers , was innocent till proven guilty , given the opportunity to defend hmself , had legal counsel provided and all done in an open court says more about this country than any amount of bile he could spill in a lifetime.

More importantly the Solcitors and Barristers are legally bound to say if they feel they cannot give their client the best possible defence.

I know a barrister who refused to defend rapists cases for this very reason and a solicitor who withdrew from the defence team of a convicted paedophile who had been caught trying to lure two five year old girls into his car.

it has been suggested that i am being sarcastic , so its only fair that i put my cards on the table and elaborate on my veiws regarding muslim extreemists

first of all i find it abhorent if a muslim extreemist condones racial hatred , terrorism , or indeed anything outside the law

i say that because of course we have various "degrees" of exteemism

we have allready two elected MP,s that are pushing for sharia law , and for muslims to be the main or leading religion in the UK , they of course operate well within the perameters of the legal system , and that would be the muslim "extreemist" i would consider supporting

being 58 i can look back over more years than most of you that post on the threads , and i can remember being 25 or even 30 , and in those days i did not know what a muslim was !

and now i find myself living in a comunity where muslims are by far the majority ,i am not talking about luton itself but suburbs like dallow and bury park

as i live in one of those areas it seems quite natuaral to blend in with the comunity and assimilate

i havent allways felt this way but looking at the way things have changed over the last 30 years it seems inevitable that big changes are afoot and it is a good idea to go with the flow

my family in years past were catholic , and by the mere whim of a monarch were overnight changed to being C of E

so if its good enough for a monarch to convert my familys religion on a whim , its good enough for me so i can have a calm peacefull existence

i must reiterate that abu hamza is despicable for spouting the illeagal things he says , but there are the more moderate muslim clerics , elected MP,s , leading figures in the C of E etc that have some interesting things to say , you might find like me that mecca is calling
