Can't be many that would be detectable like that surely,or clinics would be using them or a similar method. Much easier than blood tests and swabs that have to be sent off to be examined. Which ones do they detect?

Yes it has been invented (S.T.EYE) however the problems with it are massive as it would have to be 100% accurate or the makers could be liable for multimillion pound claims for damages.

Imagine the scenario two people decide to have sex the test by using such a condom first then they decide to have sex without condoms as the girl is on the pill.

If one catches an STI from the other the condom makers reputation is ruined, earlier users then demand free tests to ensure they do not have an STI the couple concerned claim damages for the potential damage to their lives.

What I was saying is the receiver would get a heads-up when the thing changes colour so can decide go/no-thanks

The giver tho, well once it's in unlikely he's gonna stop and when done he finds an STI was detected, oops.

It'd be way to late by then anyway, you'd most likely already have done oral but at least you'd now know you need a quick trip to the clap clinic lol

Can it produce false positives. I'm not a scientist or doctor and I'm trying to work out how it actually works. An acid change maybe,each infection having a different level of acidity or alkali. Like a litmus test. Can it be anything much more complicated than that as it's been devised by teenagers in their college. I can't see it detecting antibodies as that would need a blood test I think. Thrush and bv are immediately detectable but not stis as such,although thrush is communicable.
