No,anything thats gonna be used on humans should be tested on humans.

Theres hundreds of lifers in jails that have done unspeakable crimes, test things on them.

Plus theres a load of scankin chavs round here I'd test things on too.

Absolutely yes. There's is no way any product should be issued for sale without extensive testing to ensure it is not harmful to humans and the only way to ensure that is to test it animals.

The animal rights movement are neccessary to ensure that scientists do not have carte blanche authority to conduct inhumane experiments on animals and they're done a pretty good job of policing that policy so far. Part of the research conducted on animlas is to look for ways to do the same research without using animals, ie. developing synthetic materials that react the same way as live tissue. The balance of scale now as opposed to 30 years ago is that there has been a reduction in animal testing of 40% and that figure is continually falling, but it hasn't reached a level yet whereby testing new products for use by humans does not involve animals at all. I'm sure the scientists will get there one day but until they do I would ask all the women who have posted 'No' to the OP - how many essential products that you use every day would you be prepared to do without?

Lipstick?

Face creams?

Tampons?

Mascara?

Perfume?

It's an extensive list... and it's the same for men too:

Shaving Gel?

Aftershave?

Deodorant?

Toothpaste?

Law of the Jungle and all that.

Biggest predator eats the smaller animals.

Besides, look what animals like Orcas do with the seals they catch! And you think a fox hunt is bad!

Well, as I said above, are you prepared to give up all the products that have been tested on animals?

One has to stand up and be counted on issues that affect us all. If the Pro-Animal Rights organisations had their way we'd all go to work everyday looking scruffy and unkempt because we wouldn't have any beauty products to make us feel good about ourselves but, more importantly, we would die of minor illnesses because we wouldn't have the essential medicines we need to cure us either.
