Two vintage models called bessy and burt.

Bessy has some mileage but is in excellent working order.

Modified airbags plenty of storage room in the boot. Comes with spare tyre and bodywork needs tender loving kisses. Quite loud and unpredictable but certainly a good comfortable ride. She is temperamental of a morning but once she gets started she is hard to stop. She has an oil leak after use but that is expected for a model of this age. She would pass any quality inspection and is good value for money.

Bert. Modified shorter exhaust. And spare tyre.

Open to offers for storage in his boot or under the bonet

Both suitable for male and female drivers

Titz Towers, North Notts

Transit van, with enhanced front bumpers, previous owner was a circus clown, comes with big top. Lovely to drive, but you wouldn't want your friends to see you in her.

Gravesend

Vintage 1956 model ..modified for unleaded .. Fairly good condition .. One previous owner but since been used as a demonstration model .. Great on hill climbs .. Goes down well as well as up again ... Very reliable . may need a slightly wider garage than normal.. All reasonable offers considered .. Also prepared to consider some unreasonable ones too

Not quite over the hill

Mark 1 Vauxhall Velma, reliable with sleek body lines, complete with aftermarket accessories, serviced regularly, full Mot with a couple of advisories, viewing highly recommended.

Mark 1 Ford Freddy, average condition for year, smooth gear shift, good rubber all round, high miler but all pumps working. Brilliant on short journeys, may need additives for long runs. Cheap.

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

This rather unique one-off, 1977 model comes with a full service history. This is the comfort, not speed model, but certainly not dull.

Low mileage for age, and limited previous owners, although has had a few thrashings on various expeditions.

Some bodywork imperfections, but overall in not bad shape for the year.

Comes with interesting accessories.

Can be prone to leakage on some journeys, but nothing unmanageable.

Reliable, and fun, although can be difficult to stop when she gets going. Be prepared for one hell of a ride!

1963 , good reliable runner, gear stick a little stiff at times, needs a firm hand . A good old off roader . Likes to get dirty from time to time and the odd long steady ride . Will need a thrashing to clear carbs .

Costa Blanca Spain...

Veteran (could even qualify as vintage)

Bodywork not in bad nick but white paintwork has gone a bit brown and shows marks from a couple of repairs. Engine still running but has also had some repair work and oil pressure needs a little attention. Also the twin air filters are a bit clogged up.

At times performance can be a bit erratic but have found that adding a large brandy or bottle of good Rioja to the fuel mix gives a good boost all round.

Nearly finished up on the scrapyard last year but a good team of mechanics soon got us back on the road.

With a bit of care and regular blow jobs on the tyres, (WHAT ELSE WERE YOU THINKING?) there will hopefully be a few more years of regular misuse left.

Truro

1957 Black Country Special.

Can only be started by hand.

Problem with emissions if you put dodgy fuel in.

Quite economical, will go all night on 3 pints of Tribute.

Bostin old banger

2 vintage models or rather ageing wrecks. To be sold / given away as a pair to whomever will take them and can afford the high maintenence and running costs.

(Her) Full service and MOT history. Low mileage by (mainly) careful, mature male drivers. One major repair has left it's mark on the body work. With the right handling the engine still purrs but won't win any races. Nicely inflated spare tyre and large bumper. Model was before its time with generous fitted airbags.

(Him) Despite the high mileage on the clock, still runs better than younger models most (well some) days Much more of a performance vehicle with associated marks on the body work.

1983 retro style. It runs well and is very dependable. Had a couple of not so careful owners so would be best suited to an enthusiast keen to encourage her back to her former glory.

Solid exterior and sumptious leather seats inside with a well rounded boot.

Surprisingly low milage and is capable of both a gentle purr and a hearty roar when on the open road

All sensible offers considered

1965 classic, body work shot but reliable. Designed for ride comfort not speed. Runs on unleaded Guinness only but this causes emissions issues day after fill up. Sometimes requires oral jump start. Ability to float in water in short squirts or the odd gush.
