Haven't been been to one for a while but got one next year to go to. Friends who met on E-Harmony 10 years ago decided to tie the knot. It'll be a good do though.

One of my closest friends met her hubby at a wedding. I used to loathe going to events as a singleton. I don't mind now, as I usually find some poor sod to talk to death! Haven't been to a wedding for yonks though - my lot are all busy getting divorced !

A few years ago I was invitwdvto a wedding and could take a plus one. I was with someone at the time so said it would be him.

We split up just before the wedding so instead of going alone I took someone else and told him he had to spend the night pretending to be called Alec

We still laugh about it to this day.

There's usually a photographer or bar staff to chat up. Always have a plan B.
