I drive past or maybe should say I crawl past Stonehenge twice a week.

I'll give the Summer Solstice a swerve though

I'd like it if it was a lot less organised. Otherwise I've done some great winter and summer solstice parties. Fully an earth woman.

Glastonbury

I don't know why they call it Stonehenge tbh...

As any archaeologist kno, the henge refers to the ditch and bank, not the stones within.

FACT

Doesn't count if it is 27/06. You will have missed it by about a week! The solstice is technically tonight 20/21 June.

As any etymologist knows, never trust an archaeologist on the origin and meaning of words

Away with the fairies (Liverpool to you)

We do our own festival celebration in a woods local to us - very peaceful way to welcome the sun - we had a lovely time

Fareham

I lived nearby for a few months but never bothered going there. Kind of regret that now. Still might try and go see it someday.
