Ooo yeah I can see this can become beneficial for us ladies. I would like to go and see Paranormal Activity 2, but Im scared of ghosts so need a big sexy guy to take me, and if he takes care of me, hugs me when im scared, lets me put my head in his lap when the really scary bits come on, ill show you how grateful I can be

I was thinking along the same lines, which shows this may be beneficial for all parties.

It's a film, calm down.

If you really wanted something to scare the crap out of you check this out.

Last week I was house-sitting for my parents again. I was in the loft conversion, using the PC, my dog was at my feet, the room door was open. I thought I heard someone moving about downstairs, which happens all the time, I'm used to it. Now whatever bangs about, runs up and down the hall, shuts doors etc in that house, keeps itself to itself, it doesn't bother me.

If I'm upstairs and the row gets too much, I yell at it to STFU and things settle down. The noise is always downstairs when I'm upstairs, although my Mum says she hears footsteps up and down the stairs at night.

Anyway, last week, I'm sure someone else is in the house, but I don't shout, because if it's a burglar, I want the edge on him. I slide round on the chair and look down the stairwell, the dog has flattened ears, looking down there too. I can definitely hear someone coming up the stairs, the creaks, and I'm ready for them, they are going to get a bigger fright than me! But then the door up into that room creaks as someone passes it....right in front of my eyes. The stairs creak one by one as someone is coming up, and I can hear material swishing against the sides of the walls. By this time, I'm not quite so tough.

I looked at the dog, she's growling and watching "it" come up the stairs. I then had a Scooby Doo moment, looked at the pooch, she looked at me, and we were both heading past "it" racing for the door. You think I'm going to pay good money to go to the cinema to watch special effects when I can have the shit scared out of me for free?

Of course, the worst thing is when you wake up in the small hours and lie there wondering what's woken you, everything is still and quiet.....or is it?
