First Vinyl Album/Single Purchased

I have just got a turntable, after many years without one. I'm really excited about getting lots of mine and the old vinyl inherited from my parents out this weekend.

I am struggling to recall my first album, my memory may be jogged when it is all got out.

I remember getting my first 5 singles at Woolies -Layla by Derek and the Dominoes being one of them.

Do you remember yours? I'm thinking this thread will give me some good ideas for more vinyl to look out for.

Good choice of a first album - I am not sure there is any Queen in my collection - but I can't remember half of it. I have a fair few singles, all in some really naff plastic storage case! You probably got more for your money with albums!

She certainly was!

A couple of years later it was Kim Wilde's debut album.

I think I had a thing for blondes in those days.

Not any more, I'm definitely multicolourist!

I totally agree, it's the worst song they ever recorded!

Sadly their most popular.
