Some friends and I once danced the can-can at a Hooked-on-Classics concert, standing on the cinema-style seats.

That took more co-ordination than we had

Don't you know how long that is before the explosion at the end? I can never make it past the lady tuning up the pink oboe while giving me the French horn.

Erm sorry pedantic head on

The 1812 overture was written to commemorate Napoleons retreat from Russia in erm 1812.

The battle of Waterloo was 1815 , hence the bicentennial lol
