the worst reasons for a cancelled date or meet

curious too know what reasons you have been given for a meet or a date you have previously arranged to be cancelled the day(s) before.

best one from me.

I'm going shopping instead.

anyone else able to top that.

I could see their reason for cancelling if they are on antibiotics, they can be horrible things depending on which ones they were taking. So not necessarily a poor excuse, I'd of done the same

Maybe they didn't speak to you again because they didn't want to meet anyone, anymore? Could've been due to health problems or they decided to just stick to regular people

Arranged a meet with a guy, said I'd text him the morning of the meet to confirm, said yep, no problem. Text him the morning of the meet as agreed and he said as he hadn't heard from me he'd made other plans. Those plans were apparent the next day as he was on my friends list and received a new verification!

My favourite was he'd run out of petrol but had left his wallet at his mates. He didn't even have enough petrol to get to his mates and had no means of getting any cash so had to wait for his mate to bring his wallet over but because they'd been out drinking the night before, his mate would be too d*unk still to drive!!!

I'd prefer any of these than nothing at all. I have made arrangements in the past only to hear nothing more. No cancellation or anything but then a few days later a wink. On yer bike matey !

We had, for a Tuesday meet where we had no warning, he did not come because "sorry, I had to go off shore to an oil rig and could not get a signal on my mobile. Can we sort another time?"

"So from the time they told you about going to when you left two days later you could not find 20 seconds to text to say you could not make it? Fuck off you inconsiderate shit!"

I once chatted to a couple who gave me a false address. I knocked on a front door at the arranged time to find a different family living there. They were UNLOS by the time I'd got back on line
