"Is 'anathema' a noun or an adjective?"

It's a rock-band apparently.

How has Google let you down?

Mr ddc

I needed to remind myself who I was, and I'm a broadcast journalist and had an album out at some point in the 80s

(Ps, clearly a noun)

"

(Ps, clearly a noun)"

Except it doesn't take the indefinite article "It was anathema to me" as opposed to "It was an anathema to me"

That's what piqued my interest.

(It says something when I am more paranoid about using the correct grammar/spelling on a swinging site than in my business dealings!)

I'm a famous American Interior Designer apparently.

Sometimes her clients get let down by Google, because they contact me believing that they are her. I have the personal information of several major league baseball players.

Is that because it's a mass noun?

There are certainly times when it should really say "Are you sure you want to ask that?" before giving you the answer

Away with the fairies (Liverpool to you)

When I put _ickawitch in google I get exactly what I expected - lots of references to 'get a taste of religion - lick a witch' including car stickers which is where our username came from

My phone is soooooo slow right now that even if I start typing a phrase I am finished and tapping my fingers before google even tries to guess what I am asking for

Saying Google got something wrong is like saying your computer got something wrong. Computers don't make mistakes!. Although I've punished one or two for being naughty!

I think Google like all leaning tools just needs effort by the user!.

Google got it wrong right from the beginning. They meant to call themselves Googol but someone spelt it wrong.

I wanted a new swing for our garden and typed it in google. Within a fortnight we are attending orgies , swinging clubs and meeting other couple for swapsies.

We never did get that swing but have been on the slide ever since.
