Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit.

Wisdom is realising that you can do what the fucking hell you like with a tomato.

Very true - reminds me of a saying - something about tell me and I will remember, let me try it for myself and I will understand - or something along those lines, can't remember precisely and am too busy perving/arranging meets to google it at the mo

Knowledge can be learned parrot fashion but wisdom is a gift that either you have or you don't have.

A couple of school teacher friends of mine are very knowledgeable in their chosen fields - but wisdom and common sense ????? I won't even pass comment.

Knowledge is what you know, wisdom/intelligence is how you use it.

Ignorance is the absence of knowledge, stupidity is the ignorance of ignorance.
