Today ive (Ali) been volunteering at my Daughters school as they've all been to the cinema as a treat for excellent attendance,We all went to Pizza Hut for lunch which was included in the treat but as they wouldn't let 2 children in who wouldn't eat pizza and had Mc Donalds meals. We ended up in Frankie & Bennie's who had no issue with the 2 children who wanted the McDonalds meals,, the bill was over £250..So for the sake of Pizza Huts rules they missed out on a very big bill... I thought this was stupid of them if im honest ,anybody else had this or similar

"Why should children be rewarded for attending school ?"

Positive behaviour reinforcement has been replacing negative behaviour punishment for quite a while now with good results.

I'm not a fan of this taking part trophy crap though, somebody beat you so you didn't win.

If you want to win try harder and get better.

When you leave school there's no partaking trophy if you want to excel you have to push yourself.

I think it's fair that a restaurant expects you to eat their food and not bring your own in. If Frankie & Benny had been busy I wonder if they would have been so generous.

"Why should children be rewarded for attending school ?"

I have no problem rewarding kids for doing well, what pisses me off though is if I had taken my child out of school for the day and took her to the flicks and a meal I'd be considered a bad mother, apparently as parents we have to do such things outside of school times as its disruptive to their education

Apparently only when we do it though

a bit of goodwill cost nothing

plus you fill seats and take £250

and fill tables, and that's why they are there

Most importantly, what kind of weird ass kids don't like pizza? And why couldn't they just have a frankie and benny's burger?

Never heard of any restaurants allowing food from outside the premises to be eaten on theirs.

Perhaps the kids being taught good attendance should also be taught the powers of democracy, seeing as the majority were going to pizza hut.kids must learn they can't have everythingvtheir own way.
