I think being a white male born in one of the safer countries on the planet and living at the dawn of the 21st century's a good start

Used to work at a cash&carry warehouse that had monthly raffles. I used to win quite often, but it was usually useless crap that I didn't want or need After a while we started swapping our prizes round, it was like being back at school and doing swapsie

I feel for you Evie!

I recently "won" an Ian Dury CD at the choir raffle. I was drawing the tickets out and it was purely coincidental that I won.

I've been pretty lucky. I think the best thing I won was a weekend in London for 4 in the swankiest hotel I've ever been in with what seemed like endless champagne appearing in the suite, a sex and the city style afternoon tea followed by a limo drive to a personal screening of sex and the city 2.

I won sky hd for a year on a local radio station too

I've never won anything big, £40 on the lotto a few times years ago just, bottle of vodka in a raffle, but my fave win ever was a signed book by my fave author and she threw in a promotional pen for the book too that she'd signed it with. Loved that.
