To be quite truthful I prefer the peace And quite myself but not really 24/7, I Remember as a kid cumbria being a quite Location and I can Imagine those area,s Being the same today, along some of the Coastal regions I can,t remember much Public transport, the only transport I Remember was my dads car, or I did,nt Take much notice of such things then as A kid, there were wide open area,s where Transport was needed could never Have done the sea fishing we did over The years I never took this for granted at the time and more so when I got older, visited maryport a number Of times and remember one day an Oldish gentleman catching 1/2 beautiful cod from the harbour side, I have only ever seen cod like that before caught from a boat rod/line.
Its because there are no bright lights To attract the masses and location Wise away from the normal big masses, People are born and live in these locations if you don,t know any different then perhaps its no big deal As it is with southern city folk who Know no different from what they know, But see and feel the difference when In such places, I like a mixture of Things myself if you can get it Silloth was another location like maryport spent alot of my childhood There, kicking a plastic ball down the Sea front when I was 3 years old, and Sea fishing of the sea wall there too, One of the biggest things I remember Was how pleasant every one was and the Further north you went it was the same.
