Was chatting to someone, and I just happened to mention the drink Babycham, and her next question was 'How old are you'.

So what drink if mentioned alcoholic or non-alcoholic would represent your teenage years

Well the two ladies in question have made reference to there Nan, regarding babycham.

My first recollection of drinking babycham I most of been around 7-8 when family members given it to us kids,at a family party saying 'ah it won't do them no harm, it will keep them quite'

Unbeknown that it's 7•5% alcohol

"I have a collection of Babycham glsses with the Bambi style figure on and the gold rim. They belonged to my grandparents. I love getting them out when my friends are round for a retro Mojito drinking glass !

I have them too. They were my nan's. Perfect for cocktails.

So how old do you two think I really am

Well, you are a grandparent.

True and a proud one, but there not in their 30s "

You need to make sure you have a collection of Babycham glasses ready to hand over to them.

Tab, Lilt or Cherry B or knicker droppers brandy and babysham. I remember buying a few of those with a modicum of success too. My drink of choice was always Stella.

I did the purple barf in my Mum's front garden, after getting dumped there by my friends. I had a small bottle of pernod hidden at a house party. I drank it all ! I have never been able to stand that smell of pernod since!

Got so d*unk on pernod I fell face first into a rose bush scratches all over my face. Looking back I could have lost my eyesight the joys of house parties at 17 though

"Pernod and black!!

I went on a school trip to Germany when I was 17 and bought 200 marly lights and a litre of Pernod on the plane back from duty free - had no idea what it was and just thought the bottle looked nice!

Thunderbird - first time d*unk experience.

Hooch - First alcopops experience and loved it but soon replaced by Reef which I still love to this day.

Cisco - A 35cl (if I remember correct) bottle of wine at 18%, peach flavour. It used to blow our socks off when we first met.

TNT cider. Came in a glass bottle designed like a stick of TNT. It was very strong and the bottle seemed unbreakable.

Two dogs, hooch, mad dog 20/20 were all drinks we would get from the cheap off licence that sold to under 18's

She mentioned 20/20 what is it?

You drink it as a shot.. Kiwi or strawberry flavour "

Is that what you're supposed to do with it? Shit, we just used to neck it.

Warning: the orange one is worse coming up than it is going down which, although it sounds implausible, is true. Vile stuff, but a rite of passage.
