Steam window cleaners

Any one got one? Is it worth buying one?

Depends how many windows you've got and how often you clean them.

I've got the karcher one, works great if there done regularly, if there dirty dirty they need washing before attempting the cleaner

Pointless.

I clean the Windows in my house the same as my cars.

Two microfibre cloths, one wet, one dry. Wipe with the wet one and dry with the dry one. I then use a spray called Angelwax Vision to clean the glass (again using a microfibre cloth) and then Mist-X to stop them steaming up.

I only need to clean my windows once every six months.

I use a product called H2G0 on the outside, it makes the windows hydrophobic. No need for a window cleaner either...

Vinegar and water then dry using scrunched up newspaper. Costs very little and results are brilliant.

I use it on the windscreen of my car. I've not used the wipers in nearly a year and it doesn't freeze in the winter.
