Fairly often I get asked for face pictures from people with none themselves, no intention of sharing, or who simply say that they don't send first, what do others consider to be the standard procedure for unveiling your visage to a prospective lover...?

If they ask for a face picture in there profile I do send one.

7/10 times I get one back.

If they don't send one back I normally ask for one or ask them later after messaging them a few times.

If someone mails me with one and I'm interested I send one back, if I mail someone I attatch my pic

If someone doesn't want to share then I wouldn't meet them

Oi usually send a face pic with a message. If I want a face pic, I will ask. For me , it is usually the marker as to whether the recipient is interested in me.

I don't have a standard procedure as such. If I'm interested in them and they me, we swap, normally fairly early on. If they don't want to we don't carry on chatting unless we have no intention of ever meeting. I don't continue chatting to those that make a big deal over it.

Our rule of thumb is if we send the first message we attach our face pics with that message, if we receive message and want to see there faces we would attach our face pics to the request, if someone message us asking for face pics and doesn't have any visible or attached to the message we simply ignore them, Our privacy is just as important as anyone else's whoever request should include there pictures

Not having a pop at you personally,but judging by some of the questions asked in the forums,I would imagine a lot on here need their mum's to hold their hands for a lot of things

My biggest bugbear is when I get a message saying "I liked your pics, if you're interested I'll send a photo"

Um, how do I know if I'm interested unless I see a picture of you?

Whenever I contact people with the intention of meeting I'll always attach a face pic first.

I've found on Face Pic Friday recently a few have contacted me first without attaching a pic, asking me to send. That's kind of against the spirit isn't it? But I tend to send on the whole anyway and some have reciprocated whilst others haven't.

I guess the rule I always apply now is only send if you're happy that they might not send back - it's their prerogative after all

Well she's always used Fairy liquid and I just like to feel the softness of her palms.

But seriously, I asked the question about face pics, because they're personal in a way so few are. As long as we hide our faces, we're able to post from behind a certain veil of anonymity, but as soon as we show them, we become identified as real people, the same as those you meet when out and about, it's actually a pretty large transition when you're talking about being on a site where we're essentially meeting strangers for sex.

If we were contacted by anyone saying "we have no face pics and if we did we wouldn't show you!" The message would be straight in the bin.

In our experience you have two choices. Send one with your first message or simply engage in a bit of banter and after a few exchanges attach a pic. One of two things will happen - neither of which you can control - conversation will continue or it will cease. And if it continues but no face pics are returned? You make a judgement call.

There's no one size fits all model.

May I just add,no one is forced to send anything they don't want to.we all have a choice.

Why continue a conversation. Simple solution is to call it quits and move on.

Although how anyone expects to arrange a meet without one is beyond me.

If I message a woman or couple (not the same for guys, who I occasionally enter into a brief conversation with) I always attach a face pic...just seems polite to let them know who they are potentially talking to. Obviously I also hope that they like the look of me.

Generally, if I get a reply with one attached I take it as a sign that they do. At this point if the attraction is mutual I try to spark up a conversation.

If I get a face pic from a woman/couple (unless its via 'face pic Friday', I always reply, but do not attach a pic if they are not my cup of tea.

If we make first contact with someone, we will attach a face pic. If they are interested and like the look/sound of us, we would hope they send one back.

If someone messages us first and there not for us. We'll reply but won't send our pic back.

We won't meet or continue chatting without seeing a pic.

ill send one if there's something appealing to me about those requesting

you can usually tell the ones you wont get one back from. they have no pics or are hiding nearly 90% of themselves in the ones they do have

its like i can understand you not wanting to be recognized or leaving something to the imagination, but an arsecrack, a flash of some cleavage or a bit of thigh is not gonna do anything for me

Or a dozen close up blurry pics of their cleavage, suspenders or ankles - BBWs are the worst for this.
