It was a good live show with a lot of buzz to it. You could tell both the bands and the audience enjoyed the gig too

Good job it's on at 9pm with Shaun on it.

There's nothing on Friday nights worth watching these days.

Friday night tv used to be a reason not to go out.

Will have to record it as I may be out at chams?

Loved this show back in the late 90's I always used to watch it while getting ready for a night out clubbing. Good memories.

The show was brilliant first time round.chris evans was at the top of his game.gave new bands a chance in the spotlight, was the making of ocean colour scene.hope it's as good now as it was then.how time flies

Titz Towers, North Notts

Hopefully this will be brilliant. It was compulsive viewing for a short while first time round, but really went off the boil quickly when Evans decided he was bored.

The original show disappeared up its own backside when Evans ego looked like it was going to try for world domination!

But it was good TV for most of its run and I will be watching tonight and reminiscing with a small hint of I wish I could time travel back for a little while as it felt like Britain was the coolest place on the planet for a while, and to be young and carefree during the period was brilliant.

It's funny seeing all the people who were on before doing weird things with their bodies.

I remember them the first time around.

And it will cut the Graham Norton ratings.

I don't think they should, whilst it was brilliant to watch in the 90s and tonight's show was fantastic, there's a risk that it could end up a cliché of itself.

Newcastle and Gateshead

was wondering why the little red light on my sky + was still recording when it should only have gone hour and a half... so could the last 10 minutes of it live....

I'll watch it tomorrow.....

Years and years were excellent.

Gallagher and Daltrey were excellent.

I though Chris was trying a bit too hard though.

Not watched it all yet, catch up tomorrow.

Really enjoyed what I saw though.

Happy days indeed...

It was nice for a one off, but I wouldn't care for it to be resurrected. There was a lot of padding in the original.

It's been off air for ages, it can build a whole new generation of fans perhaps as well with a little tweaking

Apart from Stephen Merchant being an unfunny wally the show was a great trip down memory lane. Enjoyed it.

Seemed to be one long job interview for Nick Grimshaw. I think you will see him hosting something based on the original in the not too distant future.
