But, but, they haven't blown a £bn yet on shuffling their overpriced, overrated "talentz" around yet have they?

If it wasn't watched by millions, played in so many countries and one of the world's top grossing sports, I might have believed you.

You do know you can actually fool a lot of people a lot of the time?

Plenty of football outside the top flight. I expect most of us on here earn more than the average lower league player!

Actually, it makes you wonder where Steve McClaren thinks Europe is if Newcastle are one of the top ten biggest clubs in Europe.

Wallsend, bellend.

Depends if Arsene Wenger signs someone of the same level as Sanchez and Ozil.

If he gets another 30 mil plus player then yes I will look forward to it. Rather than impending doom.

Forgetting the next season for a minute ... Cardiff is full of Belgians tonight ahead of the match tomorrow - lots of singing in the bars at the moment

How can you say SM is a Judas, he turned Newcastle down while Deby manager.

It was Deby that sacked him so why shouldn't he then take the Newcastle job when offered.

Amazes me some so called supporters .. hate the manager while he at their club, then slag him off when he goes somewhere else.

For the record I dont support Newcastle, and I think SM is a shit manager and he will be lucky to keep Newcastle up.

As a Newcastle supporter, I can't believe this appointment, yeah he will probably do enough to keep em mid table,sm will get his 50 grand a week or whatever and that will suit mike Ashley. .Will the fans ever get someone who is edgy, radical, younger maybe and with a desire to win something..50,000 fans every week who have waited since 1969 to get some silverware

It is fucking shameful.

Maybe you should try giving that nice Mr A. Shearer a go? He seems to be well versed in footie things.

he always said my commitment is to derby.... at the moment. never once ruled out he wanted to go. his interview on ssn. he said this is the job ive wanted for a long time. he was never gona walk from derby and lose his payoff. he even told team on bus to fulham in feb that he was going then denied it. even jeff stelling had laugh sayin its the worste kept secret in football he will go there. also mac saying hes got this huge bond with our club and fans as he played here. just fed us so much shit. he should v just gone in january instead of keeping us fed with bullshit
