Presently, I am trying to make friends outside of Facebook while applying the same principles.

Therefore every day, I go down the street and tell all passers by what I've been doing in the last hour, how I feel, what I have done the night before, and what I will do later in the day. I give them pictures of my wife, my family, my dog, me doing gardening jobs, and doing what I do in my day to day life, however mundane that may be.

I tell them about visits to my G.P., the supermarket and cinema. I even tell them what I've eaten, what effect it had in my bowels and when I last went to the toilet.

Also, I listen to their conversations and I tell them all I love and like them. I even give most of them a thumbs up or a smiley face symbol.

And it works :

I already have three persons following me, two policemen and a psychiatrist !

You may laugh but my mum does stop & chat to people if she thinks they look sad.

She told me earlier she stopped to chat to a guy in his 20's who looked really miserable. Apparently he had just split from his girlfriend.

She gave him a toblerone to cheer him up

Brighton - even Hove!

I don't do Facebook. I can't think people would be all that interested... Let's see..

Woke up, got out of bed, had shower, got dressed, had brekkers, watched the news, drove to work listening to radio 4, worked, looked on fab, worked, had lunch, worked, drove home listening to radio 2, sat in the sun, had dinner, read a book, went on fab, watched tv, went on fab, had shower, went to bed.

Only three followers !

Providing photographic (or possibly video) images of what you have to eat might increase this, although i dont recommend doing the same with the product of your bowels.
