Squares or Triangles ?

How do you cut your toast or make your sarnies ?

Are Triangles posh ?

Or are Squares common ?

I cut Triangles for the kids toast as they leave less crust

Had to think for awhile...well this early...I do both.Toast tends to be squared ,so do bacon n dippy egg but most other sandwiches triangles

Away with the fairies (Liverpool to you)

I cut toast and sandwiches into squares.....if they look wonky I start again - I can't eat sandwiches made by other people because I know they can't cut them the way I like

Sandwiches - are rectangles or squares as there are different preferences in my house. Triangles for a party or family gathering.

Toast -either in half so rectangles again or a square as the whole slice. If I use a toast rack though it's triangles. I had heart shaped toast though on Mother's Day.

im a triangle person usually - as a carer i get laughed at (god knows why) when i make toast and sarnies into triangles - bacon butties tend to be cut the other way though

I don't cut my toast unless it is too big for the plate. I normally have rye bread or a sliced bloomer. It is more likely to be cut in half if it doesn't fit in the toaster

Sandwiches/toast uncut.

Butty in a bread bun uncut.

But using bread loaf for a butty gets the rectangular cut.

Cheese on toast rectangular cut.
